Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!
We had such a good day.
This morning we went to my work for our
annual festival.
Landry decided to be Minnie Mouse this year.
Me and my little girl
My girls at work and I decided to dress up
today as the 3 Blind Mice!
I have such a good time at work with them
and I'm so lucky to have good friends to work with.

Tonight we went to our church's Trunk or Treat.
We hung out with Landry's favorite person, Brady Boozer
And his sister Charley
We are so lucky to be friends with them.
My girl loves those Boozer kids so much!
They had a bounce house and slide and Landry went down
about 5 times in a row!
She loved it

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we went to Grapevine for the Pumpkin Patch.
They have great stuff there for kids like a playground
and a tractor
We picked out the biggest, heaviest pumpkin we could
find and carry!
This was Landry's first official pumpkin
to carve and she was such a good helper!
Here is our final product outside on our porch
My little pumpkin and her pumpkin
After we carved pumpkins we ate our snacks
Love this girl so much and our memories we are making!

High Five for Friday

I love seeing Amber's blog every Friday with the stuff she
did throughout the week and thought it would be fun to do that too!

Here is my first official High Five for Friday!

1. We have this pumpkin that you plug in, and Landry's new favorite
thing to do is plug it in at night and unplug it in the morning.
She loves when we give her jobs!

2. Wednesday, Tim and I celebrated 15 years since our first date!
That is a long time people.
We love reminiscing about that night because it makes
us laugh that our first date was a dollar movie and fast food.
Wouldn't have it any other way!

3. Thursday, some of the girls at work went to a pumpkin farm and bought
some pumpkins.  I got our pumpkin family and now I'm brainstorming about
how to decorate them.

4. I am doing the one on one with God study right now with
some great women from our Sunday School class and have
been so enriched by this study.  It's a great start to my morning
along with my coffee and Heath bar creamer!

5. The pumpkin fairy came to visit me!
I got a text from Hilary this morning with this picture.
I am so blessed by her friendship and the thoughtful things she
does for me.  Thank you Hil! Love you.

Have a Happy Friday and
a wonderful weekend!

My Instagram Weekend

Happy Monday!
This weekend was a good one.
Since I barely use my camera any more and I pretty
much Instagram everything I thought I would give you
an overview of the weekend in those pics.

Friday night our Sunday School girls got to gether to have a spa night.
We had oatmeal masks, scrub for our hands, parafin wax to make our hands
smooth and then tea bags for the puffiness under our eyes.
Hilary and I were the only ones to try it.
Don't we look ultra glamourous?

I had such a good time with these girls.
So glad I get to walk through motherhood with them!

Saturday I got to see Amber and her belly.
It had been a while since I had seen her and her husband Jordan
and the shower was great!
Such cute details done by her friends.

Saturday night we just lounged around and ate popcorn and watched
one of my favorite Disney movies, The Lion King.
Landry loved it!

Sunday morning as we were waiting on daddy to get ready for church
we had an inpromtu photo session.
This girl loves taking her picture with mommy.

Last night we had our home team meet so Tim's sister Steph came
to the house and watched Landry.
She wanted to pick a bracelet out of my stash to wear and this is what she picked.
Perfect for her little wrist.

That's about it!
We had a fun weekend.

A Texas Tradition

Every year, us Texans gather at Fair Park for what is known as
the Texas State Fair!
It's not officially fall for me until I've had a pumpkin spiced latte and been to the fair.
We took our official picture with Big Tex

Landry went into the petting zoo and we saw a momma pig with
her babies
And we saw a 1200 pound pig!

We went to look at all the cars and my heart skipped a beat
when I realized that in 13 years, this will be a reality for us!

We ate lots of yummy food
(that's required, right?)

We watched the dog show

We rode rides
(we can't go somewhere with rides, and not ride them)

We had such a good time with my parents and Tim's parents.
I would call this a successful trip to the fair!

Well, Hello There!

Wow!  I had no intentions of taking a month off from blogging.  It has been a crazy month filled with lots of blessings and goings on.  Here are some of the things we have been up to...

We celebrated both of my parents Birthdays.  We took my dad to one of our favorite Italian places and took my mom to Mi Dia in Grapevine.

We went to the Grapevine Festival and rode the carousel, tea cups and train.  I love rides, and now, so does Landry!  No fear I tell you.

We went to Colton's Birthday party at a bounce house.  She was loving it.  Poor thing was worn out after 2 hours of non stop fun and took a great nap!

I joined Instagram!  I'm loving it.  It is such an easy way for me to post random pictures and to be able to keep up with friends.  Here are just a sampling of pictures I have posted lately.

Landry loves to stick her tongue out and take a silly picture with momma
We went to the Boozers new house a few weeks ago, and these girls loved playing together!
We met my parents for lunch a few weeks ago in Southlake, and we
can't leave there without getting some ice cream!
This was at my moms Birthday dinner
It's not officially Fall until I've had my first Pumpkin Spiced Latte
This girl could eat yogurt every night if we let her
I got to have a girls night out last week and spend some time with
my sis-in-law!  Love being able to do that!
We invited the Boozers over for dinner Saturday night and the kids wanted
to eat at Landry's picnic table.
Can I just tell you how smitten Landry is with Brady Boozer?
Wow, she talked about him coming over all day, and once he
got there, she never left his side, so cute!
This morning I heard Landry in her room before I went in there to get her up.
She said "mommy, I waked up".
I told her to just take her jammies off and get herself dressed.
I was curious to see what she had on, and to my surprise, it actually matched.
Not exactly what I would of picked out, but every once in a while I like her to express herself!
I think that about covers what you've missed.
We went to the fair Sunday, so I'll do a post in itself for that one.
Happy October!
