Today you turn 6 months old. I feel like it was yesterday I saw you for the first time. You are my heart. You make your daddy and I so happy. I love that you smile when I walk into the room. I love that you giggle when I make funny noises. I love that you have the biggest blue eyes and that you bat them at me when I get upset at you! In these past 6 months you have shown me patience I never knew I had. I am so glad God gave me a girl. I love my relationship with your Mimi and I can only hope we have the same kind of relationship. One based on friendship and love.

You are really starting to change into a little girl. You won't let me hold you like a little baby anymore unless you are eating or we are playing. My favorite thing about you right now is your laugh. You think mommy and daddy are the funniest people in the world and it makes our heart melt.

Your favorite food right now is sweet potatoes and bananas. You have started to say "yum" when you eat and you open your mouth to get a bite. I love our rocking times together at night. It's my favorite part of the day. You are quiet and still and you let me hold you and kiss on you and say your prayers. I swear sometimes you even say "amen".
