Kensington and Landry
On Saturday, Shay, Andrew and Kensington came to meet Landry. Shay and I were both so excited to have our girls meet each other, after all they will be best friends!

How I spent the First Week of My Life
This week has been great! We have done so much.

Hello!
I thought I better blog about this or I was going to get way behind. As you can see, Landry came into this world the day before her due date. I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday and went in to find out my doctor was in an emergency C-section, so I would be seeing another doctor. It turned out to be for the best, because this is my favorite doctor in her practice. After I did all the normal stuff I had been doing from week to week her assistant came back in to inform me that I needed to roll over on my side because I was having high blood pressure. I laid on my side for a bit, then the doctor came in to retest me and I still had high blood pressure. They said that this was something they didn't like to mess with and that we needed to talk about inducing me the next day. I was shocked, I had no idea. Tim and I discussed it, and it turned out that Wednesday was a good day to go ahead and do this. I was admitted Tuesday evening, and then Wednesday morning we got the ball rolling. A short 15 hours later, Landry made her appearance. It was a long day to say the least.

Thank you Shay for tagging me! Here are 25 things you might not know about me.
1. I am married to my high school sweetheart
2. We broke up a lot in high school, but after the day we graduated we stayed together
3. I am due in 3 days
4. She likes it in my stomach, so I probably have like 10 more days
5. I have had the same best friend for 9 years
6. We met being on drill team together
7. We are now having daughters together and no matter what they say, they will be friends
8. I have worked with the youth at our church for 6 years now
9. Whenever I am in a bad mood, I will call Tim or talk to him and then my mood suddenly changes
10. We are complete opposites on most things, but that is why our relationship works
11. I love coffee, but not for the coffee, for the flavored creamer
12. I miss my morning cup of coffee (10 more days!)
13. I am going to be a part time stay at home mom
14. I love my job at Southwest, and have gotten a great opportunity to just work 3 days a week there
15. I am looking forward to swim dates, zoo dates and lunch dates with my girl this summer
16. My dog has been an only child for 3 1/2 years now
17. She has no clue what is coming home with us in a few days!
18. I have listened to the same morning radio program for 14 years
19. I go to the grocery store every Monday and start on the same isle and end on the same isle every week
20. I hate making my grocery list
21. My favorite food is my mom's mac and cheese. It was my grandmas recipe, and I plan on learning to cook it one of these days
22. My dream is to take my mom to Tuscany one day
23. I have never been on a cruise
24. I am obsessed with CSI. I watch and try to figure out the killer before the actors do
25. I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials, but was deeply disappointed in last nights. I ended up watching Barney with Brady Boozer!
