Disney World Trip 09'

Whew! We're back! We had such a blast in Orlando. So much to say, so many pictures, where do I begin? Here is a day to day montage of all the fun we had.

Panama City Beach Weekend- We spent the weekend before at the beach. We are such beach people, that we simply couldn't just drive by, so we made a pit stop for the weekend.

On our way to the beach!

A girl's gotta wear her shades!

We ate lunch at Harpoon Harry's and they had this sign outside.

Some random pics

We ate dinner at Margaritaville and they had balloon people making hats, so Landry had her first balloon hat!

Our First Carousel Ride- she wasn't so sure about it at first, but she ended up loving it!

Her first taste of ice cream- we tried not to give her too much, we didn't want her to also have her first belly ache, but she loved the ice cream.

We finally made it to Disney World!

Monday- We went to Hollywood Studios where Dani and I rode our favorite ride, Rockin Roller Coaster. Landry also got to ride her very first ride, The Toy Story Ride. She loved it. She helped mama blast the gun at all the toys, and we even almost beat daddy!

Tuesday- Happy Birthday, Pop! We went to Epcot for the day. We ate lunch at a Mexican Restaurant, and rode some fun rides. When Dani and I were younger, we went to Disney World the year they were doing these pictures that are up at Epcot. My dad got one of us and we take our picture by it every time we go.

Birthday dinner for Dad! We went to the Polynesian Restaurant, Ohana for my dad's 50th B-day dinner. We loved it. We stuffed ourselves silly.

On the monorail on our way to eat

This is how you will usually find me eating my dinner, poor thing was so tired she pooped out halfway through

She perked up though when my dad's dessert came!

My beautiful parents

Here she is with Aunt Dani in the kiddie parade they do around the restaurant. She loved all the attention she was getting!

Dad- Stop, you're embarassing me

After dinner, we went back to Epcot to watch the fireworks show they put on every night. My girl did so good, she stayed up to watch the fireworks, then fell asleep on Pop's shoulder walking to the car.

Wednesday- The boys went to play some golf while the girls had some much needed rest and relaxation time at the pool

Thursday- We went to Magic Kingdom where Landry got her first pair of Mickey ears. She loved them. Anything to get someone's attention!

At Cinderella's Castle- they have a restaurant inside there where you can eat with Cinderella, I have a feeling someday we will be eating in there!

Riding Dumbo with Pop!

That concludes our trip. We had such a great time with my family, and we can't wait for the next trip! I will leave you with Landry showing you how tired she was from all the fun we had!

Cause and Effect

So, Landry has learned the meaning of cause and effect. She has discovered that when mommy cooks dinner and puts you in your highchair to watch her with toys on your tray, you can then throw said toys on the floor and mommy will immediately pick them up and hand them back to you. Then, the process starts all over again until mommy discovers that you have learned this new trick and takes away said toys because her back is starting to feel like an 80 year olds.

I love you little girl, no matter how many times you throw your toys on the floor, I will still be there to pick them up.

My 6 Month Appointment

On Tuesday Landry had her 6 month appointment. This was the longest and hardest appointment we have been to. Dr Olivo was behind, so she had us wait in the room for 30 minutes. Have you ever tried to entertain a 6 month old for 30 minutes? They have the attention span of a well, 6 month old! We were doing funny faces at each other, I made her be an airplane in the sky, we had long in depth conversations(hopefully, the first of many times) and we played with the toys. Finally, she came in and did all the usual stuff, including shots. After the first one she always looks at me like how could you do this to me, then when the second one hits she gives out a pathetic scream and lets me have it. Then, 2 minutes later all is well with the world again!

Her stats are as follows:
Weight: 20 lbs (97th percentile)
Height: 27 inches (90th percentile)
Head: 16 inches (25th percentile)

She is a growing girl. I get told all the time that once she starts moving, she will thin out a little. I love my chunky baby though. To me, she still looks like a little baby and not so much a little girl yet. I'm ok with that. She can't grow up just yet!
