Busy Weekend

On Friday, Tim's dad had a Birthday! We went to dinner and then Landry helped sing Happy Birthday to him and eat some cake. We are hoping she loves cake in preparation of next weekend.

Saturday, 3 of Landry's favorite men came over to put her swing set up. Mimi and Pop, Grandma and Grandpa and Grammy and Grandaddy bought her the swing set for her Birthday. Then Pop, Grandaddy and Grandpa came over and set it up. Here they are, working on it.

Landry was too busy eating her lunch to watch all their hard work!

Saturday night we went out with my parents to eat and then to eat some ice cream. Landry LOVES ice cream! Here she is enjoying it.

Less than 1 week...

...until Landry turns ONE!!! Yesterday, her caregiver called me and told me that she woke up from her nap with some stuff in her eye, and that I might want to come get her and take her to the doctor. The doctor said it is a sinus infection and an ear infection! Luckily, she isn't acting like she feels bad, so that is good. We are giving her plenty of antibiotics and she is sleeping a lot, so hopefully she will feel better by her party next weekend! Here we are at the doctors office playing with our favorite toy, mommy's phone.

Since I was home, and we are in the middle of a downpour right now, I decided to take advantage and clean out my cabinets. Landry of course wanted to help, so this is her in the middle of it.

She would hand me the bowls and such when I would point to it. Then, when all the cabinets were cleared out, she decided it would be fun to climb into the cabinets and play hide n go seek.
Where is Landry?

There she is!

This is her after she woke up from her afternoon nap to eat. Poor thing, she just looks pitiful :(

The Smith's Meet Smith

On Sunday, we went to visit Smith Shull. He is so cute. Landry has never really been around a baby before, so it was fun to see how she interacted with him. She was very interested in him and just kept staring and trying to touch Smith. It was really cute.

2 more weeks...

...until my baby turns 1!!! I still can't believe that she is almost a year old. Here is a video I took the other night of her walking. That's right, she is officially walking! She will still crawl if she is being stubborn, but for the most part she is walking everywhere. I am so excited for this milestone to come, but it is weird to see my baby walking.
Without further ado...

Also, we went to dinner the other night and we decided to let Landry ride the mechanical horse for the first time. She liked it at first, and then got a little scared!

Too Cute Tuesday

This week's too cute Tuesday is dedicated to Smith William Shull! I was so honored to get to be there yesterday with Shay and Andrews families while we waited for Smith to come into this world. I wore pink, thinking it was going to be a girl, but I was wrong! He is so cute. It is so hard to remember how small they are when they are first born. I am so excited for Landry to have a new friend. We love you Shull's and are so excited for your new adventure with your baby boy!

Here are a few pictures of the cute little guy.

Landry wore pink yesterday as well, but she was wrong too!

Weekend Away

This weekend, Tim and I went with my parents and Bobby and Dani to Austin. We went for the boys Birthdays. Landry stayed with Grandma and Grandpa and had a great time! It was really weird for me to be away from her for two days. I was so excited when we walked in today to get her. I hardly took any pictures, but here are some that I did get.

Mom, Dani and I rode in the backseat together on the way there. I had such a good time with them this weekend. I am so lucky to have a mom and sister that I am so close to.

We got to go to this really small taco place that was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It was really good.

Do you all see my mom in the background? Yea, I just thought it was too funny not to crop out!

For the boys Birthday dinner, we went to a really good BBQ place called County Line. It was so yummy!

Then, this morning we stopped on the way home at Round Rock Doughnuts. It is supposed to be like world famous. It was the best doughnut I have ever tasted! We 4 stuffed ourselves silly with doughnuts.

I brought one home for Landry to have and she got to have it as her snack this afternoon, she loved it!

Too Cute Tuesday

I discovered I haven't done these in a while. Here are some cute pictures I have taken over the last few weeks.
Her new favorite thing in the kitchen is my cabinets. She loves to open them and then slam them shut. Baby proofing is going to need to happen pretty soon in the Smith house for fear of her pulling my breakables out!

She is loving her table food! This was rice from the other night. Her favorite food right now is spaghetti though. She gets it in her hair, on her chest and on her face!

She has begun to take a few steps at a time. I have yet to capture it on video. Every time I turn the camera on, she will take one step and fall. She is getting really good at standing for a while though.

The Weekend as told by Landry

Hello! This weekend was a busy one for me.
Friday, I mourned the loss of the Longhorns with my daddy.

Friday night, we went to Austins house and I played cards with Erin

and Austin and I played with all his new toys he got for Christmas

Saturday morning, mommy and I went with Melissa and Austin to Storytime at the Library. It was so much fun. We got to play with toys, and play musical instruments, and play with bubbles, we read a book and sang songs. It was so much fun, I can't wait to go back!

Saturday night, we went to Brady Boozer's house to watch the Cowboys play and eat pizza. Brady let me play with a lot of his toys. His mommy is pregnant with a baby and we are so excited that he is going to be a big brother!

Sunday morning, I went to church and got to go to a new classroom. Then mommy and Melissa helped in my class in the second service. I wasn't very happy sharing my mommy with the other kids though!

Sunday for lunch, I went on a date with mommy and daddy and had my first kids meal. I got to have chicken fingers, french fries and milk. It was so yummy!

I hope you had a great weekend as well!
