Little Fish

Last Friday, Landry completed her two week swim lessons.
At first when we started she wasn't quite sure about going back
there by herself and then quickly got the hang of it.
The thing about these swim lessons is that the parents don't watch,
so I had no clue if she was even learning anything.
Last Friday, they had all the parents come back and then each of the
kids shows off what they've learned.
I was amazed at Landry!
She did so good.
When I was her age, I practically lived in a pool
so I was so excited that she loves it too.

Friday night, we went over to Dani and Bobby's house since they couldn't come
to the class on Friday, and she swam all by herself, dove in and is loving the pool now.
The hard part is now getting her out of it!

Time with my girl

Last week and the week before that, Landry had swim lessons in the mornings.
I decided to take the mornings off from work and spend some time with my girl.
We had so much fun and got used to sleeping in in the mornings and doing whatever we wanted!
Here are just a few of the things we did together.

We swam

We played at the park

We went over to the Boozer's house and swam some more

We spent Father's Day with our favorite guy

The bump and I had to leave for Nashville for work
I watched Landry on her final day of swim lessons

We got to see one our favorite families, The Shulls

Shay and I have been friends for 20 years.  Trust me when I tell you,
she knows me, the real me!

Saturday morning, as a treat, I took Landry for her first pedicure!
As my mom says, her first of many!
She loved it.
She just sat there while they rubbed her feet and she picked a pretty purple out.
The final product!
I love this girl so much, and I'm looking forward to many more years of
mommy daughter time.

23 and 24 Weeks

How far along? 24 Weeks

Size of the Bambino? The size of a Grapefruit
Maternity Clothes? Yes
Weight Gain? 17 pounds
Stretch Marks? Not yet
Gender? It’s a Boy!
Name? I think we have finally settled on a name. Now, if we could just agree on a middle name, we will be set! We are announcing it in a few short weeks.
Sleep? Still tossing and turning all night and going to the bathroom at least once.
Cravings? Popsicles
What I Miss? Nothing really
Symptoms? Feeling him move all day long. I don’t remember Landry moving this much. He is crazy in there!
Belly Button? In
Best Moment? Landry loves to talk about her baby brother all the time. This week she has gotten into really trying to feel him move. Every morning she wakes up and talks to my belly and every night before bed we say our prayers and the baby is first on her list. She is going to be the best big sister ever! I just love seeing her get excited.

22 Weeks

How far along? 22 Weeks

Size of the Bambino? The size of a Papaya
Maternity Clothes? Yes. I finally broke down and bought some shorts to get me through the summer. We are going to the beach in 3 weeks, and thought they would come in handy.
Weight Gain? 15 pounds
Stretch Marks? Not yet
Gender? It’s a Boy! Still love the fact that we are going to have one of each!
Name? I’m beginning to think this baby will leave the hospital as Smith Baby. I have a lot that I love, but Tim turns almost all of them down! I know I have some time, but that is the number 1 question among our family.
Sleep? Still tossing and turning all night, and still having some crazy dreams. Getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night has become a habit now.
Cravings? Loving anything cold. Ice cream, ice water, popsicles.
What I Miss? Nothing really
Symptoms? Still really sore from the round ligament pain.
Belly Button? In
Best Moment? Tim and I went out for a date night Friday to see Fast and Furious 6 and then out to dinner for date night. I love spending time with just us discussing our kids and our future.

How far along? 21 Weeks

Size of the Bambino? The size of a Carrot
Maternity Clothes? Yes, but I am still wearing non maternity dresses also.
Weight Gain? 15 pounds
Stretch Marks? Not yet

Name? Nope, not even close. I have some that I love, but getting Tim on board is another story!
Sleep? Still tossing and turning all night, plus I’m having the craziest dreams!
Cravings? Ice cream and cereal.  My grammy bought me some key lime ice cream this week, and it is so yummy!
What I Miss? Not really much right now
Symptoms? I’ve had the worst round ligament pain the last few days. If I get up after sitting for any length of time, I’m so sore.
Belly Button? In
Best Moment? Finding out this baby is a boy and getting to finally say “he”! Plus, my parents got him his first clothes and I never thought seeing boy clothes would make me so happy!

Gender Reveal Party

Friday night, we had family and our closest friends over to celebrate this baby.  I had the cutest shirt made for Landry.  She was so proud to be the big sister that night!
The theme for the party was "What Will It Bee?".
I found some of the cutest ideas on my biggest waste of time Pinterest.
I had everyone who thought it was a girl wear pink
And everyone in the boys corner wear blue.
You can tell what pretty much the majority thought!
And... It's a boy!
We are so excited to have a boy!  As Tim and I went in the sonogram room that day, we got so excited wondering what this baby would be.  As soon as she asked us if we wanted to know the gender and we both said yes at the same time, he decided to show us exactly who he was!  It was hilarious.

We had a great time at our party and my girl loved hosting all her little friends!
