Every 4 Years...

This girl gets a Birthday!

Our sweet Angel has a Leap Day Birthday, so every

4 years we celebrate her!

Angel has been a part of our family since before

Tim and I got married.  We love her!

So, does that make today her 8th or her 2nd Birthday?

Since today was so nice outside we sat out in the driveway

and Landry and Angel got to play.

Now, on to this weekend.

We went out to my parents house last weekend

and had such a good time!

Saturday we went out to Stonebriar Center to shop and eat.

We went to Cheesecake Factory and had a yummy

slice of cheesecake

Saturday night we headed out to Ft Worth to one of

our other favorite restaurants, Joe T. Garcia's.

We love sitting outside there normally, but Saturday

night it got chilly!

Sunday I got a glorious pedicure

It was a lovely weekend.

A Park Date

Today Landry and I walked to the park.

It was so beautiful outside and our local park is

 not far from the house.

Her favorite thing there are the swings

We also played on the slides

She loves going to the park!

I'm glad there are days like this we can spend together.



It's A Sunshine Day

Yesterday afternoon was beautiful.

We decided since it was so nice out that

we should go out and enjoy it.

This is Texas after all and the weather

can change just like that!

Landry loved playing outside in her car

Then we played with bubbles

After that we attempted to mow the yard for daddy

I'm so glad we took advantage of the nice day!

Happy Valentines Day!

We had a great day here at the Smith house.

Yesterday morning Landry had her Valentines party

at school so I dressed her up all festive.

She looked so cute!

Ugh, I LOVE this girl!

Last night my hubby took me to a nice dinner.

They brought these out for dessert.

LOVE!

I am as in love with him today as I was 12 years ago when we

celebrated out first Valentines Day together.



Our Weekend

Friday my mom, dad, Landry and I set out for the

big city of Clyde, TX.

My cousin Brett plays basketball there and is a senior

so he only has one more game left!

We figured we better get out there to see him play.

He is really good.

Landry loved watching him play

After the game we went to dinner with the family

and celebrated Aunt Karen's Birthday!

Guess who helped her open her presents?

Saturday night we took Landry out for a Valentine's dinner.

When we got home her daddy surprised her and I with our

favorite treat! 

I love chocolate covered strawberries and get them every year

and now Tim buys them for her too!

Sunday we went over to Tim's parents house

for a yummy dinner.

Look who ate her first rib!

She loved it!

When we got home this was happening!

It was snowing!

What a lovely way to end a lovely weekend!
