Thanksgiving 09

Happy Thanksgiving from the Smith Family!

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We had such a fun weekend filled with family, food and fun! Thursday we ate two Thanksgiving meals. For lunch we went to my great aunts house and Landry had her first taste of turkey, sweet potatoes and dressing. She loved it all.

Saturday, we were off to my parents house for my mom's side. Landry loves music. She has started singing in the car. Dani and I thought it would be funny to put her headphones on her. She just sat there and listened to the music.

Thankful

This year, I have so many things to be thankful for. I have been so blessed this year and I thank God for all the things he has done and given me.

My Husband. I am so thankful for Tim. He has been my rock throughout our relationship and there is no one I would rather travel through this life with than him. He is so good to Landry and when I look at him look at her it makes my heart melt.

My daughter. I am so thankful for Landry. I could not of asked for a better child than her. She fits right in to our little family so well, and makes us whole. She makes me laugh on a daily basis and just when I think she can't get any smarter she out smarts me!

My family. I am so thankful for my parents, Dani and Bobby. I look forward to seeing them and get sad when I know it will be a while before we will go over there. Just ask Tim! I am so lucky to of been blessed with the parents that I have. I am so thankful that Dani has found someone who completes her and completes our little family.

For Tim's Family. I am so thankful for Mike, Debbie and Stephanie. I could not have asked for a better set of in-laws. They treat me as if I was their own daughter. Thank you for raising Tim to be the man he is!

Our friends. We are so thankful for the Thomas', Boozer's and Shull's. Tim and I have been blessed with a great set of friends. I am so lucky to have been blessed with friends who have children as well and that I can go to for advice.

All these things would not be possible without my faith in the Lord. I love this time of year to reflect on all that I have been given and to be so thankful for what he has done for me.

Reality Weekend

This weekend was so fun, but I am exhausted! We had the youth group's Reality this weekend. Our church has been doing this for years. This year, we had all the high school girls at our house. I adore these girls, they are so much fun! Here are just a few of the things that we did.

Saturday morning, I brought Landry to the worship with us, and she loved it! She was a dancing fool. Her new thing is to dance whenever music comes on. I will try to get a video of her doing it to show. The lead singer of the band even pointed out her dancing, it was too cute!

Landry loves our church's gym. It is a wide open range for her to crawl and play.

Saturday afternoon we played flag football. I say "we", but I actually didn't play. Tim was a referee and Landry and I watched from the sidelines. She loved it. It got a little cold, but she didn't care.

Here are two of my favorite girls, Kyndall and Erin. I absolutely adore these girls and I will be sad when they leave next year to go off to college.

Our group that stayed at the house.

Here is Landry at dinner last night. She had mexican rice for the first time and loved it. I don't think we have fed this girl anything that she hasn't liked! A girl after my own heart!

My parents brought her back this teddy bear from there trip this weekend. She loved it. It sings "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth".
