Galveston

Happy Memorial Day my peeps! This weekend was spent splashing in the ocean, eating some great seafood and spending some much needed time relaxing. We left Friday with the car and Angel all packed up and headed to Galveston. We stayed at this adorable cottage that my parents always rent when they go there. Saturday was beach day, and we had such a great time!

Angel and Maddy had a great time splashing around and playing in the ocean, but this is how tired they were that night!

That night we went to a great restaurant called Fish Tales.

On Sunday, while dad and Tim played some golf, mom and I toured this really old and neat house called the Moody Mansion. It was built back in the early 1900's. We took a tour and got to see all the bedrooms that still had furniture and all the neat architecture. All I can show you are the outside pictures, they didn't allow me to take any on the inside :(

Then, Sunday afternoon, we went on a dolphin tour. You go out on this boat and look for dolphins.

Do you see the dolphin? Yea, we didn't either!!! They would come and go so fast, this is all that I would be able to get.

We had such a great time there, that we didn't want to leave. As you can see, Angel had such a great time, she fell asleep as soon as we got in the car.

Hope you all have a great Memorial Day.

Mothers and Graduates

This weekend was crazy, so let's get to it! Saturday, we threw a wonderful graduation party for Amber. Shay and I were the Hostesses with the Mosteses! Congrats Amber, we are so proud of you!

Sunday we celebrated Mother's day. My mom wanted to go to the Zoo, so we obliged. We had such a great time with my mom and sister. Mom, I love you so much and I am so glad you are my mother! I am so blessed.

I also want to give a shout out to my favorite mom to be. Shay, I know you will be a great mom with many mother's days to come!

My Weekend

This weekend was fun-filled with family, friends and food! Saturday, my mom and I ventured out to Clyde, TX to see my aunt and her family. I have blogged about Clyde before, and my mom and I look forward to going here at this time every year. They have a city wide garage sale, and sometimes you can find some treasures, and other times you may find some duds! We had so much fun laughing at what some consider a treasure! Saturday night, I met up with one of my oldest friends from church. We grew up in the same church together and became very close friends. Her and her sweet husband and adorable son came to meet me for dinner and we had a blast catching up and reminiscing about old times. I am so glad we got to see each other again. Thank you Katy, for such good memories, I hope to see you again real soon.
