Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! I'm so glad Friday is upon us. We've got some fun things planned for this weekend.

It's been a while since I've linked up with Andrea, Erika and Narci with Friday favorites and I've got a few pics to share, so bare with me as I finish catching this blog up on past events.

Garth 2.0...
So after seeing Garth in Houston we found out that he was also coming to Dallas. My sister and I grew up listening to him with my dad so we thought it would be fun to go together. I love him so much so of course I didn't mind getting to see him again. We had the best time. I don't get a lot of time with Dani anymore now that we're both moms, so I loved getting to sit next to her and sing all his songs at the top of our lungs!

Howdy folks...
A few weeks ago we went to the state fair of Texas. I look forward to our annual trip every year. This year, my parents, sister and mother in law went too. We had such a fun time. The girls decided this was our year to ride the Ferris wheel. We loved it. Landry was so excited to ride. I thought she might get scared once we actually got on, but I think she had just as much fun as Dani!

Happy Halloween...
This past weekend was Halloween and we had such a good time. Landry is at the age now where I can no longer depict what she's going to be and she is so unpredictable that I was a little nervous as to what she was going to pick. She saw a costume of a clown and loved it, so she picked a clown. I'm not usually one for bag costumes although after making both kids this year I might be! I made the tutu and then just pieced the rest of it together. She ended up looking really cute!

Now, Hayden on the other hand has no clue who he is yet so I still get to pick his. I saw on Pinterest a while back a baby as Charlie Brown and thought it was the cutest thing. So, I found a yellow polo, ironed on some black zig zags and voila, Charlie Brown!

We went with one of our favorite families, the Boozers. We walked their neighborhood for a good hour then the kids were done. They wanted to head back home and eat all the candy!

I think that about covers all that I've missed on here. I had so much fun looking through all our pictures. Hopefully I'll be better about keeping up with our lives!
